PPIG answers the call of the State of California that water users, producers, and distributors use a public-private-partnership model to generate water reuse projects as a means of alleviating the natural and man-made drought in California.
The PPIG team has a deep understanding of the regulatory issues affecting California’s water supply and conveyance of such supply. PPIG firmly believes that even if rainfall alleviates the natural drought conditions in the State of California, the man-made restrictions on water conveyance through the delta will persist thus increasing the need for alternative water supplies in the State.
PPIG seeks to:
(1) identify and evaluate potential projects;
(2) privately finance selected projects;
(3) oversee project entitlement, engineering, design, construction, and budget implementation;
(4) seek grant funding for selected projects; and
(5) work with investment houses to help aid the User in the financing of water purchases.
